No way, Jose?
Contempt is a simple feeling. Once it awakens inside of you, you should not really bother about stimulating it, your mind will search for fuel without your particular consent. You do not know how to switch it on, you are not presented with a manual to handle it and stopping it seems to be a problem either.
Despising Mourinho is even easier than that. Every word he says and every gesture he makes feel like a part of a grand and imposing performance where the main character repeats the line ”I am great, I am great” for hours till the sound of his voice becomes unbearable and you leave the hall with that perplexed and deformed face one can only make watching Lady Gaga videos. Mourinho proved many times that he is indeed a ”very special one” though I still wonder whether he is more skilled in coaching or PR.
It is weird to defend the man with bloated and childish ego, yet for the first time in my life I feel like doing that. The crisis in Real with player threatening to leave, goalkeeper crying on the bench and the stadium whistling the coach is a bit too much even for Jose. Without a doubt he has always been irritating and even ridiculous but he usually turned to be that trigger and allergen that forced the players to climb so high that could not even imagine.
Real just did not seem to understand the script. The cast interrupts the leading actor, hindering the view and mumbling words of regret instead of supporting the great one.
It is just the perfect moment to make wonders again, Jose. Just the perfect moment.
