Slovak Super Liga or Corgoň Liga is the first level football league in Slovakia. The league was formed in 1993. As of 2012 there are 12 competing teams, the lowest team in the table drops to 2. Liga. The league winner gets a chance to compete in the UEFA Champions League, runner-up and third-placed teams as well as the Cup winner follow to the UEFA Europa League.
There are three rounds, played during a season; each team play 33 matches and all in all 198 games are played within a season. The most titled teams are MŠK Žilina and ŠK Slovan Bratislava.
