Arab Contractors SC, aka Nadi Al-Moqaweloon Al-Arab, is an Egyptian Premier League club founded in 1973 in Nasr City, Cairo. It belongs to the construction and engineering contracting company, the Arab Contractors.
The 1980s were the golden age for the team. They set up a record of becoming the first Egyptian club to win the African Cup Winners’ Cup which happened in 1982. The team collected another two titles in 1983 and 1996. In the same three seasons Arab Contractors became the CAF Cup Winners’ Cup champions.
In 1983, the Mountain Wolves, as they are sometimes nicknamed, claimed their major silverware in the shape of the Egyptian Premier League honor. Joseph-Antoine Bell, Karim Abdul Razak and Ishmael Dyfan were the instrumental players in winning the title. The club’s trophy cabinet also welcomed three Egyptian Cups in 1990, 1995 and 2004, and the Egyptian Super Cup in 2004.
Arab Contractors play their home games at Arab Contractors Stadium which can hold up to 35,000 people.
