Chicago Fire is an American football club from Chicago, Illinois. It was founded on 8 October 1997. The team is often nicknamed as Firemen.
Toyota Park with the capacity of 20,000 is the home arena of the club. Andrew Hauptman is the team’s chairman; Frank Klopas is the head coach.
The team is playing in Major League Soccer since 1997.
In 1998 Firemen managed to clinch MLS Cup. In 2000 and 2003 the club finished runner-up.
