De Graafschap is a football club that represents the city of Doetinchem, Netherlands. The team was created in 1954. The club’s name means the country of Dutch, yet their most popular nickname is the Super Farmers.
The team’s trophy cabinet does not have any silverware and for most of its history the team floated up and down first and second Dutch divisions. In the 1995 De Graafschap finished atop of the Eerste Divisie, receiving promotion to the top flight, subsequently spending there 8 seasons.
The fiercest rival of the side is Vitesse Arnhem.
The official colors of the team are white and blue. De Graafschap holds its home games at the 12,600 seater De Vijverberg Doetinchem.
