FK Donji Srem is a Serbian club from Pećinci. The club’s home ground is Sport Center Suvača with 1,500 seats. The team’s home colours are white and yellow.
In 1927, the club was founded under the name Borac Pećinci. With the lapse of time, Pećinci began to have more features of a modern town due to the closeness to Belgrade-Zagreb highway, which is of governmental importance. Other vital factors for the development were the progress of culture, sports, education and economy in the region.
Many people supported the club financially and morally, which helped Donji Srem to get to the top of their success in 2009, when they gained the promotion to the Serbian League Vojvodina. The major contributors for this achievement were Milenko Đurđević and Milan Aleksić, the sponsors of the club.
In 2011, FK Donji Srem won the Serbian League Vojvodina and progressed to the national second division, the Serbian First League. In the 2011/2012 season, the club finished at the second place in the Serbian First League and earned a historical promotion to the Serbian SuperLiga.
