FC Hradec Králové is a football club in the Czech Republic. It is named after Hradec Králové, the city it is based in.
The club was created in 1905 and the first league title came in 1960, at that time it was the Czechoslovak First League. The following season Hradec Králové competed in the European Cup where they achieved quarterfinals but were eliminated by FC Barcelona.
After the creation of the Gambrinus liga Hradec Králové won the Czech Republic Football Cup in 1994/95. The 2000/01 season they spent in Czech 2. Liga having suffered relegation and then had two seasons in the top flight.
Between 2003 and 2010 Hradec competed in the second division before they returned to Czech 1. Liga for the 2010/11 season.
The team’s home venue is Všesportovní stadion, which has a capacity of 7,220.
