FK Jagodina is a Serbian club based in Jagodina. The club’s home ground is Jagodina City Stadium with 15,000 seats. Their home colours are blue and white.
In 1919, Milan Trifunović and several former Serbian officers initiated the creation of FK Zora, which was a predecessor of modern Jagodina. The club changed its name several times through the first 43 years of their history and eventually stopped at the current name after the merger of FK Morava, FK Jedinstvo and OFK Kablovi in 1962. The club played in the lowest divisions of the national competition until the 1990s, but managed to gain the promotion to the Second League of FR Yugoslavia in 1993. From 2002 till 2006, Jagodina suffered a series of setbacks and was relegated to the fourth division, but it took the club only three years to gain a spot in the Serbian SuperLiga.
The 2011/2012 season was the best for ‘The Blue Team’, because they took fourth place in the national competition and got a place in the 2012/2013 Europa League qualification.
