Kasimpasa is a football club from Istanbul, Turkey. Currently the club plays in the Turkish Super Lig.
Kasimpasa was supposedly founded in 1921 (previously known as Altıntuğ and renamed later).
The team plays home matches at the Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Stadium with the capacity of about 15 thousand seats. The team first made it to the Turkish Super Lig in 1959 and had had seven participations there so far.
Zafer Yıldırım and Shota Arveladze are the club’s current president and head coach respectively.
A few famous players used to play (and some of them are still playing) for Kasimpasa, namely: Nourdin Boukhari, Fatih Akyel, Mamoutou Coulibaly and Azar Karadas.
