FC Naftan Novopolotsk is a football club in Belarus, located in Novovpolotsk. It was formed in 1963 and initially was named Neftyanik Novopolotsk. Then its names changed several times: Dvina Novopolotsk, Kommunalnik Novopolotsk, Naftan Novopolotsk, Naftan-Devon Novopolotsk and in 2001 their current name was accepted.
Between 1992 and 1995 the team competed in the third division, in 1995 and 2002 they played in the second highest division and all the other seasons they’ve played in the Belarusian Premier League.
Among the achievements of Naftan are 2009 and 2012 Belarusian Cup trophies. In 2002/10 and 2012/13 the team competed in the second qualifying round of the UEFA Europa League, but on both occasions were eliminated by Gent and Red Star Belgrade respectively.
Their home venue in Novopolotsk, Atlant Stadium, has a capacity of 5,300.
