Professional Football Club Pirin is a football club in Bulgaria, located in Gotse Delchev. The city of Gotse Delchev earlier was named Nevrokop and when the football team was founded in 1925 its name was Pirin Nevrokop.
The team competed in lower divisions and won promotion to B Group in 1981/82 for the first time, but in three years they faced relegation. The following promotion to B PFG came in 1993 but in a season they dropped to the third division.
In 2005 Pirin advanced to B Group and played there until the end of the 2011/12 season, when their new manager Yakov Paparkov led them to the second division victory. That B PFG title ensured promotion to the top flight of the Bulgarian football.
Pirin’s home ground in Gotse Delchev has a capacity of 5,000.
