Club Atlético San Martín is an Argentinean football team located in San Juan, the province of San Juan. The club currently competes in the Primera B Nacional. It takes its name from the Argentinean hero José de San Martín.
On September 27, 1907 the former players of Atlético Juventud created a new club. In 1921 San Martín became the champions of the province of San Juan. Only half a century later Los Verdinegros gained entry to the Nacional championship.
