FC Slovan Libereс is a football club in the Czech Republic. It was established in 1958, but the foundation of the club is a result of the merger of two teams from the city of Liberec, Jiskra and Slavoj clubs. The newly formed team made its debut in a 0-3 loss at Spartak Praha (current Sparta Prague). Since its creation and for a long period the team never competed in the top flight, playing in the second division or in the lower leagues.

The team had mid-table positions in 1990s and their first league title came in 2002, when Ladislav Škorpil guided them. In 2002 Slovan advanced to the quarterfinals of the UEFA Cup. Winning the league title they got a chance to compete in the Champions League, entering the third qualifying round. The season 2005/06 was marked with the second league title and played in the UEFA Cup, but were knocked out at the group stage. Slovan was crowned the league champion in 2011/12.
