FC Torpedo-BelAZ Zhodino is a football club in Belarus, located in Zhodino. It was founded in 1961 initially was named Raketa. Then the team’s name was changed several times and in 2011 it got the name of Torpedo-BelAZ.
During the period of BSSR, the team won the domestic league on four occasions (1970, 1971, 1980, and 1981).
After the dissolution of BSSR Torpedo competed in the Belarusian First League, the second tier, between 1993 and 2001, and since 2002 the team has played in Belarusian Premier League. In 2010 Torpedo was runner-up at the domestic Cup tournament. They played in the UEFA Europa League in 2010/11, where in the first round they beat Fylkir and in the second round were eliminated by OFK Beograd.
