TPS, Turun Palloseura or Tepsi, is a football club in Finland. It was founded in 1922 and throughout its history the team won eight domestic championships (1928, 1939, 1941, 1949, 1968, 1971, 1972, and 1975). Among their recant achievements are the Finnish Cup titles (1991, 1994 and 2010) and the Finnish League Cup, which they won in 2012. At the beginning of 2000s TPS faced relegation and competed in Ykkönen for two seasons before they returned to the top flight. In the final of the 2005 Finnish Cup they were runners up, losing to Haka 4-1. In 2007 under the management of r Mixu Paatelainen TPS was third in the league.
The team’s most impressive international achievement was a victory over FC Internazionale at the UEFA Cup match in 1987/88.
TPS use 9-372-seat Veritas Stadion which they share with FC Inter Turku. The club is known for its youth academy.
