Ulsan Hyundai FC is a South Korean football club from Ulsan. The side currently performs in the K-League. It is owned by Hyundai Heavy Industries.
The club came into being in 1983. At that time it bore the name of Hyundai Football Club. Its first campaign in the Korean top flight saw the team finish third. In the 1990s the side relocated to Ulsan and switched to its modern name. In 1995 the club lifted the K-League Cup. A year later Ulsan Hyundai was crowned the league champions for the first ever time.
In the 2000s the club became one of the most feared colours in the domestic game. After several near misses, Ulsan Hyundai claimed the K-League title in 2005. In 2006 the team won the A3 Champions Cup.
Finishing second in the 2011 campaign was good enough to earn a spot in the 2012 Champions League and Ulsan Hyundai marched on splendidly. In the final the team secured an incredible win over Al-Ahli.
Ulsan Hyundai plays its home matches at Ulsan Munsu Football Stadium.
