Deportes Unión La Calera is a Chilean football club from the city of La Calera founded in 1954.
The club embarked on their way in the Chilean second-division where they, actually, spent the majority of their seasons. Their first run into the Primera División de Chile dates back to the 1962 season where they competed until 1974 without relegation. In 1975, Unión La Calera dropped down to the Primera B and led largely unremarked existence for the next 35 years. In the 1990s, they even spent six seasons in the third tier. In 2011, Unión La Calera won their ticket back to the top flight and compete there since then.
La Calera players wear red and white kits. They play their home matches at Estadio Municipal Nicolás Chahuán with the capacity of 15,000.
