History and achievements
Tuks FC, aka University of Pretoria FC, is a South African club founded in 2003 in Pretoria.
The club embarked on their way as the third-division side but at the end of their debut 2003/04 season, the Tuks won promotion to National First Division. The team enjoyed even better fortune in the 2008/09 campaign as they reached the Nedbank Cup final but were defeated by the Premier Soccer League side Moroka Swallows. Most recently, in the 2012/13 season, the Tuks began their first run into the top-flight Premier Soccer League.
The club is proud of its notable former players such as Bongani Khumalo who began his career at University of Pretoria FC and then played for prominent European clubs.
The team hold their home games at the 8,000 seater Tuks ABSA Stadium.
