Tai Po Football Club is a football club in Hong Kong, which was founded in 2002. Initially they began to play in the third division but the following season promoted to the Second Division. Having finished second in the 2005/06 season the team earned promotion to the top flight.
The 2006/07 season Wofoo Tai Po finished Hong Kong First Division League seventh. For the following season Tim Bredbury took charge of the team and after his departure Chan Ho Yin became the manager. They made a good start of the season but the mid-season wasn’t a strong period nevertheless they improved the results by the end of the season and finished third. In the 2007/08 season Tai Po finished runners-up at the Hong Kong FA Cup.
The following season Tai Po FC won the Hong Kong FA Cup winners, thus qualifying for the AFC Cup in 2010. At that tournament they reached the group stage.
Wofoo Tai Po play their home matches at Tai Po Sports Ground, which has a capacity of 3,000.
