Adrie Koster is a Dutch coach and former midfielder. He was born on 18 November 1954 in Zierikzee, Netherlands.
Adrie announced himself to the Dutch football playing at Roda JC since 1977 to 1979. For a two-year spell, he scored 11 goals in 56 games for the club. In 1979, Koster moved to a top-flight side PSV Eindhoven where amassed, however, only 40 appearances for a four-year stint at the club.
In 1985, he retired as a player and began his coaching career as an assistant coach at FC Eindhoven. In between 1986 and 1990, Koster was an assistant coach of Willem II and became their head coach in the 1990/91 season. In between 1991 and 2007, he managed an array of such Dutch clubs as Roda, Helmond Sport, TOP Oss, Excelsior, VVV and RKC. In 2007, Koster was in charge of Ajax youth team and in a short time he took over reins over the first team of the top-flight club. Since 2009 to 2011, Adrie Koster coached Belgian Club Brugge and in 2012 he moved to Beerschot. However, a couple of months later the manager was released from his position.
