Albert Emon is a French football manager and the former player. Albert was born on 24 June 1953 in Berre-l’Étang.
When Emon was 10, he entered the academy of CO Berre and his playing career began. He got an opportunity to give a start to his senior career in 1968, after signing for Olympique de Marseille. The striker spent ten years defending the colors of the club. He also used to perform for Stade de Reims, AS Monaco FC, Olympique Lyonnais, Sporting Toulon Var and AS Cannes. From 1975 to 1980, Albert was the representative of the France full side. Altogether, he produced one goal in eight appearances for the national side.
In 1992, Emon was appointed the coach of OGC Nice. He spent four years at the club, helping the squad to win the place in Ligue 1. In 1997, the Frenchman joined Sporting Toulon Var, where he performed during his playing career. In a year, he took a career break and coached no team until 2001, when he was offered to manage another familiar club – Olympique de Marseille. The contract was extended in 2006. Albert led the squad to the first position at the UEFA Intertoto Cup. From 2009 to 2011, Emon coached AS Cannes. In 2012, the manager signed a contract with AC Ajaccio but resigned soon after securing another top flight season for the club.
