Anatoliy Demyanenko is a Ukrainian coach and retired professional defender. He was born on 19 February 1959 in Dnipropetrovsk, Ukraine.
Anatoliy began his professional career at his hometown side Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk in 1978 but his career really picked up steam at Dynamo Kyiv where he played since 1979 till 1991. During his 12-year stint, Demyanenko won the USSR Championship five times and the USSR Cup four times. He helped his side to win the UEFA Cup Winners Cup in 1986. Overall, Demyanenko scored 28 goals in 333 appearances for the club during his tenure. In between 1990 and 1992, the Ukrainian defender played for the German side FC Magdeburg and for the Polish club Widzew Łódź before his retirement. Since 1981 to 1990, Anatoliy earned 80 international caps to the USSR national team.
Demyanenko embarked on his managerial career in 1993 initially coaching CSK ZSU Kyiv, Borysfen Boryspil and then joined Dynamo Kyiv. He led Dynamo to the Ukrainian Championship victory in 2006 and earned two Ukrainian Cup wins for the club in 2006 and 2007. In 2008, Demyanenko was in charge of Neftchi Baku. He graced the club making it the first Azerbaijani side to reach the third round of the UEFA Cup qualification. In the 2010-2012 seasons, Demyanenko coached Uzbek side Nasaf Qarshi helping them to finish as runners-up in the Uzbek League and the Uzbek Cup in 2011. In 2012, Anatoliy Demyanenko took over reins at Volyn Lutsk in the Ukrainian Premier League and coaches the club till the date.
