Christopher Coleman was born in 1970 in Swansea. Manchester City was the first club he played for, and then he moved to Swansea City where he won two Welsh Cup titles. After that he joined Crystal Palace. Since 1995 he played for Blackburn Rovers during two seasons and finished his professional playing career in Fulham in 2002 because of the car accident when he broke his leg.
His managerial career began with Fulham, where Coleman started as a caretaker and then became the head coach. His team lost its power because the key players left the team and he was sacked in 2007.
The season 2007/08 he spent in Spain, guiding Real Sociedad, after that he headed an English cub Coventry City for two seasons, but was sacked because he had led the team to the 19th position, their lowest league finish for a long period of time. In 2011 he moved to Greece and took charge of Larissa.
In January 2012 he took over the Welsh national team.
