Francky Dury is Belgian football coach and former midfielder. He was born on 11 October 1957 in Roeselare, Belgium.
As a player Francky spent 10 years since 1971 till 1981 in an amateur club of meager resources Hulste Sport for which he made 220 appearances before retirement.
Dury embarked on his coaching career at Harelbeke Provinciale Juniores in 1981. For the next 20 years he was in charge of such clubs as SK Beveren-Leie, Ronse, Tournai, Zultse VV, RCH Gent. But his career really took up steam in 2001 when he took over SV Zulte Waregem. Thanks to Dury’s immence credit the club earned the promotion to the Belgian top-flight division at the end of 2004/05 season. They pulled off the debut season in Pro League as the Belgian Cup winners.
In the 2010/11 season, Francky Dury was at the helm of high-key club KAA Gent and in 2011 he coached the Belgium U-21 team. At the very beginning of 2012, Dury took over reins at Zulte Waregem again.
