Guillermo Sanguinetti is a Uruguayan retired defender and current coach of Bella Vista. He was born on 2 April 1971 in Montevideo, Uruguay.
Guillermo began his professional career in 1984. In his early days he played for such clubs as Nacional, Central Español, Montevideo Wanderers, Sud América, Racing de Montevideo. However, he enjoyed his better days with Gimnasia y Esgrima de La Plata where he amassed 403 games since 1995 till 2005. For his outstanding performances Sanguinetti was nicknamed Topo. In between 1994 and 2002, he was awarded 22 iternational caps to the Uruguay national team.
Sanguinetti took up coaching in 2007 taking charge over his favorites Gimnasia LP. However, he was shortly dismissed after a loss to their bitterest rivals Estudiantes LP. He then was at the helm of Cerro and Sportivo Luqueño. In 2012, Sanguinetti took charge over Bella Vista.
