Henning Stille Berg is a retired Norwegian footballer, born in 1969 in Eidsvoll, Norway. He played for such Norwegian teams as Vålerenga and Lillestrøm and in January 1993 he moved to England, where he joined Blackburn Rovers for £400,000. He played for them until 1997, made 159 league appearances and scored 4 goals.
In 1997 Berg completed a £5-million move to Manchester United. As a part of the team he won two Premier League titles in 1998/99 and 1999/2000, the 1998/99 FA Cup and the 1998/99 UEFA Champions League. Initially he was a regular player but in his second season and later Berg was given less playing time. In 2000, he was loaned to his former team Blackburn Rovers, played for them three months on loan and then completed a permanent move. He helped the team to win promotion and to gain the 2001/02 League Cup. The 2003/04 Berg spent with the Scottish side Rovers and then retired.
From 1992 till 2004 he was called up to the Norway national team, earned 100 caps and scored 9 goals.
Henning Berg took up his managerial career at Lyn in April 2005. He guided them for three years and moved to Lillestrøm in 2008, where he worked until October 2011, before he was sacked. In October 2012 Berg was appointed the head coach of Blackburn Rover but did not last long. In December 2013 he was appointed the manager of Legia Warsaw.
