Hitoshi Morishita is a Japanese football manager, a retired player. Morishita was born in 1972 in Wakayama, Japan, and began his professional playing career at Gamba Osaka in 1995 and made 12 appearances in his first season. The following year he joined the main squad and since then featured in more than 20 matches until he left the team in 2001. After that Morishita joined Consadole Sapporo. There he played during two seasons and after the team suffered relegation to the J2 in the 2002/03 season, the player moved to Júbilo Iwata, where he finished his playing career in 2005.
All in all Hitoshi Morishita, playing as a midfielder, made 239 appearances and scored 10 goals. He began his managerial career at Júbilo Iwata in 2012 but was released from the club one year later.
