Ivo Pulga is a football manager from Italy. He was born in 1964 in Modena and began to play football with an amateur team Carpi FC 1909 in 1980. In 1982/83 he had a loan-spell at Bologna but then returned to Carpi and stayed with the club till 1984, when he moved to Modena. In 1985 Pulga switched to Cagliari and played for them until 1991. He was one of Cagliari’s key players in that period.
Between 1991 and 1993 Ivo Pulga played for Parma. The 1993/94 season he spent with Vicenza and then returned to his former club Carpi, where he stayed for five seasons and then retired as a player.
Ivo Pulga worked as a youth coach at Modena, in 2011/12 he was an assistant manager and in October 2012 he was appointed as the head coach of Cagliari. In the summer 2013 Pulga was released from duties, but called back in April 2014.
