Iztok Kavčič is one of the most talented and successful Slovenian coaches working with the youth team of HIT Gorica at the moment.
From 2002 to 2008 he worked at Slovenian FA as a coach of Slovenia U15, U17 and U18 national teams. Later he joined NK Interblock football academy as a technical director.
Iztok managed to lead two different clubs to Slovenian championship titles in the last two years. In the season 2010/2011 it was U-16 NK Interblock. After that success he signed for HIT Gorica U-18 team and in the very first season with the club led his boys to the title. These days his club competes at the top level, going ahead of strong Maribor team.
