Jesse Marsch is a former football player from the USA. He was born in 1973, played for the team of Princeton University and began his professional career at D.C. United. He made 15 appearances for DC in 1996/97 and moved to Chicago Fire. Marsch played for them until 2005, made 200 appearances and helped them to win three US Open Cup titles (in 1998, 2000, and 2003).
Between 2006 and 2009 he played for Chivas USA and then retired. Nevertheless after he finished his professional career he played for an amateur team Coyotes FC for some time. He earned 2 caps for the USA national team.
In February 2010 Marsch was appointed as the assistant manager of the USA national team. And in August 2012 he switched to Montreal Impact, where he was the head coach, but left them in November because of the discrepancies with the board.
