Jiří Plíšek is a football manager, currently guiding FC Hradec Králové. He was born 1972 in Aš, Czechoslovakia. His playing career wasn’t long and in 1991 he took over his coaching career, heading the youth team of TJ Ruzyně. Since then he guided the youth teams of such clubs as FK Viktoria Žižkov, SK Motorlet Praha and FK Mladá Boleslav. He was an assistant manager at Mladá Boleslav for some time and then worked with the youth team of SK Slavia Praha. Between 2002 and 2004 he guided the Czech Republic national teams at U18, U19 and U16 levels. After that he was at the helm of FK Željezničar Sarajevo, FK Ústí nad Labem, 1. FC Slovácko, FK Teplice, FK Sarajevo and in 2012 he took charge of FC Hradec Králové.
