Jocelyn Gourvennec is a football manager from France. He was born in 1972 in Brest and began his professional career at FC Lorient, playing in the third division.
In 1991 he joined Rennes, where he played until 1995. His top division debut came in 1-1 draw against RC Lens in August 1991. In 1992 Rennes dropped to the second division and in 1994 won promotion. Gourvennec had the other spell with Stade Rennes between 2000 and 2002.
He played for such teams as Nantes, Olympique de Marseille, Montpellier, SC Bastia, Angers, Clermont Foot and retired as a footballer from an amateur team Rezé. With Olympique de Marseille he competed in the final of the UEFA Cup in 1999.
Jocelyn Gourvennec began his managerial career at La Roche VF and in 2010 took charge of EA Guingamp.
