José Santos Romero is a former Argentine football player and a coach. He was born in 1951 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He began his playing career in 1967 with All Boys at the age of 16. In 1972, he made his Primera División debut with Floresta. In 1973, he sustained diskal hernia and stayed aside until he returned to football. In 1976, he joined Temperley. When Romero was 26 he finished his playing career.
The Argentinean worked as a school teacher during twenty years and in 1981 he took over as a manager of All Boys, in 1985 he got the coaching license and had a spell at Estudiantes de Caseros since 1992. In 2004, he returned to All Boys. He had a spell at Floresta and returned to All Boys for the third time in his career. Jose ROmero guided the club for six years, up till 2013.
