Joseph Koto is a Senegalese retired football player and a coach.
He was born in 1960 and spent six years of his professional career in a Senegalese football club. He hadn’t played for any other club and after the retirement he gave up football.
But in 2011 he took over as a coach of the Senegal Under-23 team and after the youth team showed good results, he was appointed the manager of the national team in 2012.
In 2013 Koto was replaced by Alain Giresse.
