Keith Hill is a retired football player, currently he is a manager of Rochdale. He was born in 1969 in Bolton, England.
He began his playing career at Blackburn Rovers in 1987 and in 1992 left them for Plymouth Argyle, where he stayed four years. Then Hill played for Rochdale and the 2001/02 season spent at Cheltenham Town, but made only five appearances and was sent on loan to Wrexham, where he spent two months. The last team he played for in the 2003/03 season was Morecambe and then he retired.
After that Hill took charge of the youth team of Rochdale, in December 2006 he was appointed the senior team’s caretaker and in January 2007 was appointed as a manager. In the 2007/08 season Keith Hill brought Rochdale to play-off final, where they lost to Stockport County, and the following season the showed the same result, losing to Gillingham.
On 20 May 2011 he was offered a position of the manager of Barnsley, but he refused. Nevertheless in June 2011, Hill took charge of that team, where he worked till the end of 2012 when he joined Rochdale.
