Lars Søndergaard is a Danish manager of SønderjyskE. He is a retired player, born in 1959. Søndergaard spent his playing career with Aalborg BK, beginning at the youth team and then came through all levels. He retired after several seasons with the senior squad because of the health problems.
Søndergaard got coaching license and in 1996 took over his managerial career being at the helm of the youth team of Aalborg BK and in 1997 he became the interim coach of the first team, but guided them less than a year. In 1998 he became the assistant coach of Aalborg BK and worked there till 2000.
Then he moved to Austria working as an assistant coach at Austria Salzburg and then being its manager. After that Lars Søndergaard guided Austria Wien, Grazer AK, Fußballclub Wacker Innsbruck, the youth team of Red Bull Salzburg. He left Austria in 2009 and managed Viborg FF before he took charge of SønderjyskE in 2011.
