Lucas Alcaraz is a professional football coach currently at the helm of Granada in the La Liga. He was born on 21 June 1966 in Granada, Spain.
Lucas embarked on his managerial career with a third-division side Granada CF in 1995. He led them to two top-four league finishes during a three-year tenure. After short spells at Almería and Dos Hermanas, Alcaraz took charge over the oldest Spanish team Recreativo de Huelva in 2000 helping them to return to the top flight after 23 years of absence. He made the same for Real Murcia in 2007. In between 2008 and 2013, Alcaraz coached such teams as Recreativo de Huelva, Córdoba, Almería and Aris. In 2013, he took over reins at Granada and coaches the club to date.
