Makoto Teguramori is a Japanese football manager, retired player. Currently he is the head coach of Vegalta Sendai. He was born in 1967, in Gonohe, Aomori, Japan. He has a twin-brother, Hiroshi, and the brothers played for Sumitomo Metals, which was renamed into Kashima Antlers.
Teguramori began to play football at the age of eight and joined Sumitomo Metals academy in five years. After graduating he went on playing for the senior team in 1986. He made his debut immediately after signing but then spent two seasons on the bench. In 1990, he began to appear more often, featured in 20 matches during the season and scored three goals. Nevertheless, in the following seasons Teguramori appeared in less than 10 matches every season and in 1993 he moved to NEC Yamagata. There he spent three seasons and played more often.
In 1996, he retired and began his managerial career, working with non-professional teams. In 2008, he took over as the head coach of Vegalta Sendai, thus beginning to work at the professional level. He signed a two-year contract and then prolonged it for two more seasons..
