Maurice Steijn is a former football player who was born on 20 November 1973 in the city of Hague, Netherlands.
He spent most of his playing career in ADO Den Haag, staying with the team from 1993 to 1999 and totaling 98 appearances for the side and scoring 6 goals. In 1999 Steijn was signed by NAC Breda, where he stayed till 2001, playing in 36 matches.
After finishing his player’s career in 2001, Steijn switched to coaching. In 2010 he was chosen as an interim manager in ADO de Haag and a half a year later was confirmed as the head coach at the club.
