Mikael Stahre is a manager of IFK Göteborg. He was born in 1975 in Stockholm, Sweden and didn’t have an impressive playing career because of an injury. He began his managerial career coaching the youth teams of Gröndals IK, Hammarby IF and AIK. In the latest one he worked as an assistant manager and in 2007 he became the manager of Väsby United.
In November 2008 he took over as a manager of AIK, replacing Rikard Norling and guided them till his move to Greece in 2010. There he was the head coach of Panionios F.C. between 26 April and 28 October 2010. In 2011 he was appointed the manager of IFK Göteborg.
