A Montenegrin former player Miodrag Božović is currently a professional football coach who rules the roost at FC Rostov. He was born on 22 June 1968 in Mojkovac, Montenegro.
Miodrag spent most of his playing career at Budućnost Titograd where he played as a defender for six years. Afterwards, he featured for such clubs as Red Star Belgrade, RKC Waalwijk, RBC Roosendaal and Avispa Fukuoka.
Božović took up coaching in 2000, but his career really took off with Budućnost Podgorica in the 2006/07 season when the club finished as a runner-up in the Montenegrin First League.
In 2008, Montenegrin coach moved to Russia where he took over Amkar Perm. It was to Miodrag’s credit that the club broke into the UEFA Europa League for the first time ever. In 2009, Božović coached FC Moscow and in the 2010/11 season was at the helm of Dynamo Moscow.
In June 2012, Miodrag Božović took over the reins at FC Rostov.
