Oleksandr Sevidov is a former Ukrainian midfielder and the current coach of FC Hoverla Uzhhorod. He was born on 18 July 1969 in Donetsk, Ukrainian SSR.
Oleksandr signed his first professionan contract in 1990 with Zorya Luhansk. He was a prominent player of the team amassing 29 goals in 121 matches for the club during a three-year period. In between 1993 and 1996, Sevidov featured in an array of clubs such as Torpedo Moscow, Metalurh Zaporizhya, Dynamo Luhansk, UralAZ Miass and Kryvbas Kryvyi Rih. Since 1996 till 2000, he played for Metalurh Donetsk up to his retirement.
In 2001, Oleksandr Sevidov started out his managerial career coaching the reserve squad of Metalurh Donetsk. In 2003, he became an assistant coach for the first team and later on was appointed as the head coach of the club. In between 2004 and 2011, Sevidov coached such clubs as Stal Dniprodzerzhynsk, Helios Kharkiv, Krymteplytsia Molodizhne and the Moldovan side Zimbru Chişinău. In 2011, he took over reins at Hoverla Uzhhorod in the Ukranian Premier League.
