Paulo Jorge Rebelo Duarte is a former Portuguese footballer. He started playing in Boavista FC, and then joined União Leiria, after that he played for S.C. Salgueiros and C.S. Marítimo. Paulo Duarte went back to União Leiria where spent almost ten years before retirement.
He started his coaching career as an assistant in União Leiria. In 2006/07 season he was the team’s head coach.
From 2008 to 2012 he guided the Burkina Faso national team, though during a shot spell in 2009 he double-jobbed in Le Mans, while coaching the Burkina Faso national team.
Since April 2012 Duarte headed the Gabon national football team.
