Petr Rada is a retired football player, current manager of f SK Slavia Prague. He was born in 1958 and began his senior career in 1979 in Dukla Praha, where he stayed till 1988. He played for German teams Fortuna Düsseldorf and Rot-Weiss Essen, then played for Canadian Toronto Blizzard, after that he played for SSV Jahn Regensburg, FK Chmel Blšany and Fortuna Düsseldorf. He retired from Bohemians Praha in 1996.
Petr Rada began his managerial career as an assistant manager in Fortuna Düsseldorf, Slavia Praha and then became the head coach of Slavia for a short period of time. In 2000 he took charge of FK Teplice, then guided them in 2007/08 and 2011/12.
He was at the helm of FC Viktoria Plzeň and FK Jablonec 97. In 2008/09 he was the manager of the Czech Republic national team, after that guided FC Slovan Liberec, had his third spell at Teplice and at the beginning of the 2012/13 season Petr Rada was appointed the manager of SK Slavia Praha.
