Remi Garde is a famous football coach from France. During his playing career he was in the position of central defender. Currently, he coaches Olympique Lyonnais instead of Claude Puel.
Olympique Lyonnais was the club where Remi began his playing career in 1987. In 1993 he joined Strasbourg. In 1995, he won the French Cup with the team.
In 1996, he joined Arsenal FC due to recommendation of Arsene Wenger. On October 26, he made his debut in Premier League in a home match against Leeds United AFC.
In 1998, he won two titles in a row: English championship and English cup. At the age of 33 (in 1999) he finished his playing career due to a serious injury.
He began his coaching career in 2011 in the position of Olympique Lyonnais head coach.
