Roman Pivarník is a retired football player. He came through the academy of ZŤS Košice and then played for FK Dukla Banská Bystrica, FK Dukla Prague, SK Sigma Olomouc, SK Rapid Wien, SV Gerasdorf, Bnei Yehuda and Carl Zeiss Jena.
Pivarník began his managerial career in 2000, taking over as a manager of 1. HFK Olomouc. Then he guided FC Vysočina Jihlava, Al-Qadisiyah FC, SK Hanácká Slavia Kroměříž, Tatran Prešov, FC Vysočina Jihlava, SK Sigma Olomouc and Bohemians Prague.
