Rui Carlos Pinho da Vitória was born in 1970 in Alverca do Ribatejo, Portugal. Currently a Partuguese manager heads Vitória de Guimarães.
Vitória spent his professional playing career with such teams of lower divisions as Fanhões, União Desportiva Vilafranquense, Seixal, Casa Pia and Alcochetense.
He took over as a manager in 2003 heading União Desportiva Vilafranquense, where he spent a major part of his playing career. The following season he guided S.L. Benfica’s youth team for two seasons. From 2006 to 2010 Vitória was at the helm of C.D. Fátima and the following season he was responsible for Paços Ferreira, whom he helped to finish the 2010–11 Taça da Liga runner-up.
Since late August 2011 a Portuguese took charge of Vitória de Guimarães.
