Rustem Khuzin is a Russian professional coach and a former footballer born on 30 January 1972 in Kazan, USSR.
Rustem began his football career at a hometown FC Rubin Kazan in 1988. In 1994, he had a short spell at FC Rotor Volgograd but even managed to feature in the 1994/95 UEFA Cup for the club. Later on Khuzin played for FC Lada Dimitrovgrad, FC Amkar Perm and had two more stints at Rubin Kazan.
In 2007, Rustem Khuzin embarked on coaching career at Rubin-2 Kazan from the Russian Second Division. In 2009, he moved to his current Akmar Perm but for three years was in charge of the reserve squad. In 2012, Khuzin was appointed as Akmar caretaker and stayed at the club up till the end of 2012/2013 season.
