Sean Michael O’Driscoll is a football manager born in 1957 in Wolverhampton, England, and played for Willenhall Town, Alvechurch, in 1979 he joined Fulham and in 1984 moved to Bournemouth, where he played until 1995. He made three appearances for the Northern Ireland U21 national team and three for the senior squad.
In the summer of 2000, O’Driscoll took over as a manager of Bournemouth and led them to play-off of Football League Division Three in 2002/03 thus gaining promotion. In 2006 he left the team to head Doncaster Rovers. During his first season at the helm of Doncaster O’Driscoll led them to the 2007 Football League Trophy and the play-offs of League One, thus the team got promotion to the Championship. In May 2012, he took charge of Crawley Town, though left it in July. Shortly after that, on 19 July, he was appointed the head coach of Nottingham Forest but was surprisingly fired on Boxing Day. A couple of weeks later he was appointed the new Bristol City manager. In November 2013 O’Driscoll was released from his post.
