Troels Bech is a football manager from Denmark, a retired player. Currently he is the head coach of Odense BKHe was born in 1966 in Svendborg, Denmark. He began his playing career at Svendborg fB then had a short stint in Germany with Greuther Fürth but very soon he returned back to Svendborg. In 1988 he switched to Silkeborg IF and played for the club till 1994. In the 1993/94 season he helped the team to win the Danish Superliga. When Bech was 27 he left football because of the Achilles tendon injury.
Having retired as a player he took over as an assistant coach of Viborg FF. Helping the manager Viggo Jensen they led Viborg to promotion to the Superliga. In 1997, he had a short period guiding the women’s team Hjortshøj-Egå IF. Then he was the head coach of AC Horsens and Ikast FS. In 2000, he took charge of Odense BK and helped them to win the 2002 Danish Cup. Then he was the head coach of FC Midtjylland and after that became the manager of Odense. From 2006 to 2008 Troels Bech was at the helm of Esbjerg fB and in December 2008 he switched to Silkeborg IF, whom he managed until he took charge of Odense BK in 2012.
